"Poets are the unacknowledged legislators of the world"
- Percy Bysshe Shelley

Poetry, to me, is one of the most elusive, esoteric, extravagant, and beautiful forms of art within writing. And simply, one of the most difficult.

It wasn't until I took an American Literature course in college where I was able to read, learn, appreciate, and analyze some of the greats that I truly began to acknowledge the power and subtlety within poetry.

It was never my forte, but alas, I have tried and still continue to try. Listed are a few of my works so far.
